Fueling our next chapter: Filigran raises $58M in Series C
Three years ago, Filigran began as a small team with a bold idea: to help security teams and their communities stay ahead of threats by operationalizing threat intelligence. Since then, we’ve grown to almost 200 teammates, built products that thousands rely on every day, and welcomed more than 6,000 members into our community. Along the way, we’ve raised three rounds of funding, the most recent just a year ago.
Today, as we celebrate our third anniversary, we’re proud to share another milestone: $58M in Series C funding, supported by Eurazeo, Insight Partners, Accel, and Deutsche Telekom (T.Capital).
Our mission remains the same: to help security teams, and the communities around them, stay ahead of threats in a fast-changing world. Along the way, three priorities have consistently guided us: delivering innovative products, expanding our global reach, and nurturing the community that drives everything we do.
This fundraising allows us to ramp up on those priorities. It gives us the resources to accelerate the products we’ve already begun, expand into new regions where we’re needed most, and deepen our investment in the people and communities that shape our work.
Turning ideas into innovation at full speed
Thanks to this round, we’re able to accelerate major initiatives that bring us closer to our vision of extended threat management (XTM):
OpenGRC: dynamic, Theat-Informed Cyber Risk Management
We’re building our third product: OpenGRC, an open-source platform for Threat-Informed Cyber Risk Management.
Part of the XTM Suite and powered by Agentic AI, OpenGRC transforms traditional, static compliance practices into dynamic metrics and actionable alerts, enabling CISOs and risk managers to improve risk assessment process metrics and reporting, also leading to an informed investment decision-making.
With OpenGRC, risk quantification goes beyond generic benchmarks: it is refined and adaptive, based on your unique threat profile and capabilities. This allows security leaders to be disruption shapers, to take more confident, data-driven decisions turning compliance into a strategic advantage.

Introducing XTM One: our AI-Native Threat Informed Defense Cockpit
With new round of funding will contribute towards XTM One, our Agentic AI platform. This lays down foundation for our Agentic AI that connects every product in the XTM Suite and powers them with different role-based cybersecurity expert AI Agents, like threat intelligence analyst, SOC analyst and so on.
And it goes far beyond that, as it run customizable and autonomous cybersecurity expert AI Agents able to use and correlate cross-product data and features to get most meaningful insights and take the most relevant actions. By working with XTM One AI Agents, security practitioners will focus their human intelligence to high value tasks, and faster transform Intelligence into Actions.
At Filigran, we see AI as an assistant and enabler for practitioners, not a replacement. XTM One will lower the barrier to entry for using advanced security tools, perform complex workflow, and take care of repetitive tasks so that security experts can focus their energy on higher-value tasks and what matters most.
This is just the beginning. With the support of our new funding, we’re excited to start building XTM One and to share more as the platform takes shape.
Strengthening R&D to go faster
To make this vision possible, we’re growing our engineering and research teams, giving us the ability to bring new features to life faster and explore new areas of cybersecurity before they become tomorrow’s challenges.
From local roots to global reach
Cybersecurity challenges don’t stop at borders, and neither do we. With this funding, we’re scaling our global presence:
- Saudi Arabia and Japan: launching new subsidiaries in two fast-growing markets.
- United States: tripling the size of our team to serve one of our most important user bases.
- DACH region: expanding our presence in Germany and the wider DACH region to better support organizations across European market.
This expansion ensures that extended threat management is not just a concept, but a capability available to organizations everywhere with local support, local connections, and global collaboration.

Strengthening the heart of our community
Our community has always been our greatest asset, and it’s growing faster than ever. In just three years, we’ve reached more than 6,000 members worldwide, doubling in size in record time. This network is where ideas are shared, tools are improved, and the foundations of the future of cybersecurity are laid.
Earlier this year, we also launched our Ambassador Program, empowering passionate practitioners to take a leading role in their local regions and strengthen the bridges between our open-source ecosystem and the wider cybersecurity community.
With this fundraising, we’ll continue to scale these efforts by:
- Hosting more meetups and local events to connect practitioners worldwide.
- Supporting ambassadors and community-led initiatives with more resources.
- Integrating adjacent communities to foster broader collaboration across domains.
As we grow, our commitment remains the same: to keep the community at the core of our work and ensure that every product we build reflects the real-world needs of the people who use them.
A final thank you to our community and users
To our incredible team, customers, partners, community members, and investors: thank you for your trust and energy. This next chapter is about building with you, for you, and alongside you, and with this support, we’re more energized than ever to deliver on our mission.
